Veronica Almedom
Founder & CEO
Veronica’s leadership is internationally recognized, from Bern, Washington D.C. to Nairobi. Her rich professional background of +12 years encompasses fields from technology, business development to government advisory. Her leadership is characterized by a strong emphasis on private-public collaborations, cultural sensitivity and a holistic approach to addressing the most pressing issues. Through her initiatives, she creates sustainable and powerful solutions.

Pierre Gabioud
Head of development
Pierre is a developer with a passion for building meaningful technology. He has contributed to startups and projects across diverse fields—from visual and music arts to renewable energy. With a creative mindset and a strong technical foundation, he’s always exploring new ways to use technology as a force for good.

Lynda Mansson
Board member
Lynda is the founder of LeaderLy Sàrl, established with the aim of helping to achieve the SDGs by coaching, training and inspiring mission-driven leaders.
Before founding LeaderLy, Lynda was the CEO of the MAVA Foundation, a family philanthropic foundation working on nature conservation and sustainable economy. For 13 years, she led a team of 20 people to grant over € 1.17 billion to over 500 organisations to support work in favor of nature and people.
Previously, Lynda held various leadership positions at WWF International in Switzerland, also for 13 years. This included roles as Director of Global Operations, Director of Network Performance, and Director of Learning and Development.
Lynda serves on the boards of B Lab Switzerland, Unearthodox, Fondation Audemars Piguet, Swarovski Foundation, ICF Coaching Education and new wind, and is an advisor to the Cartier for Nature Initiative.
Lynda is American and Swiss and has made Switzerland her home for over 30 years.

Johanna Monthe
Board member
Johanna Monthe is a Partner at Epena Law, qualified in France (Paris), the United States (New York), England and Wales, and Cameroon bar associations with over 16 years of experience acquired in the most prestigious international law firms.
Johanna has extensive experience in Africa-related matters, having represented numerous DFIs in their investments in Africa and always being between Nigeria which is a great representative of Anglophone Africa and Cameroon which represents well Francophone Africa and Africa as a whole.
She also advises international clients on the acquisition or financing of companies based in Africa. She has extensive experience working on private equity, private mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions in Africa and has acquired a thorough knowledge of most African legal systems. Johanna is also involved in a number of initiatives for the evolution of the practice of law in Africa, as well as for the improvement of the regulatory framework.
Johanna has been ranked by Chambers & Partners, IFLR1000, Legal500 and Influential Businesswoman Awards.

Philippe Van Caenegem
Board member
Philippe van Caenegem is Senior Managing Director for Strategic Innovation at Salesforce since 2014, leading the office of Innovation to build next-gen solutions for the company’s top customers. Since 1998 Philippe has alternated between founding innovative start-ups and working in corporations in senior leadership positions in Innovation, Customer Insight, Design Thinking, and New Product and Service Development. Philippe was lecturer at Parsons Parius School of Art & Design and at Harvard University in Creativity, Innovation Strategy and Design Thinking.
Philippe supports FORWARD COLLEGE on Project-Based Teaching and Innovation Strategy.
